Reviews of: Complete Pathology for Complementary Therapies by ETS
As a Complementary Therapist, Health Consultant, training provider and college lecturer, I was delighted to receive your wonderful Pathology manual - a very welcome addition to my clinical practice.
In my opinion this book completely fulfills the need for a Pathology reference manual, which is succinct, knowledgeable, informative, and extremely useful and useable in terms of listing common pathologies a Therapist needs as a basis on which to build their knowledge foundation.
I found it very refreshing (and a big bonus), to open this manual, quickly reference the conditions and find well presented key points highlighted in sub headed sections, providing an accurate background of the definitions, possible causes, signs and symptoms, conventional medical treatment, and also a prognosis which is an invaluable addition for every Therapist.
Very thoughtfully a section is also provided for holistic advice, which can be given to clients.
My daughter even used it to complete her hairdressing course homework and stated it was excellent, and provided everything she needed as a student completing assignments and tasks.
This manual provides helpful information at a new level going one step further in giving additional essential detailed background knowledge/advice under each sub heading – a whole encyclopedia in a nutshell! Fantastic.
A very workable manual, and an excellent tool for lecturers and training providers too, giving us the confidence knowing we are giving accurate information to our students – look no further, it’s all here made brilliantly accessible and clear.
Well done ETS – thank you, you’ve done it again.

The purpose of this book is to provide knowledge and understanding of pathology for complementary therapies, and having made excellent use of this book, I can confidently say that it provides just that and more! I am currently studying a VTCT Anatomy and Physiology course as part of my Reflexology training, and consequently required a detailed, yet easy-to-read book which
offered me a comprehensive guide to Pathology. This book has proven to go beyond my expectations and not only covers the definitions, possible causes, general signs and symptoms for over 150 conditions, but it goes on to provide further information on conventional medical treatment, prognosis and holistic advice for each condition. So whilst it has been an excellent book
to help me complete my course assignments, I am sure that it will also be an excellent resource when I go onto practice Reflexology in the near future and will assist me in providing my clients with clear and sound advice. I wish to make reference to the fact that this book is a great resource for all complementary therapies, and not solely Reflexology. What I found wonderful about
this book, was how easily accessible the information was, with straightforward language and clear headings - great for people like myself who are trying to grasp the fundamentals of pathology. If you are a student or a therapist and are looking for a comprehensive study guide to Pathology, then I highly recommend this book. by Nicky Toor - Student Therapist
