VTCT, FHT, AoR, IFPA and Bowen Ass'n Online Courses, Terms of Sale

  1. On receiving your order, ETS will register you to the course and then email you with your login details. The course can then be accessed.
  2. During a normal working day (Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm) the registration procedure will usually only take about 2 hours. Student registration is a manual process and will not usually be carried out outside normal working hours.
  3. FHT, AoR, IFPA and Bowen Ass’n certificates will be sent by first class post when the course is successfully completed. VTCT certificates will be sent recorded.
  4. You will be asked to confirm the delivery address for the certificate. If confirmation is not received the certificate will be sent to the delivery address quoted when the order was placed. If this address is no longer correct, resulting in the certificate not being successfully delivered, ETS reserve the right to charge for the postage and packaging costs of resending the certificate to another address.
  5. Every effort has been made to ensure that the information and advice given in all courses is accurate and up to date. Whilst the information and advice given throughout is believed to be true and accurate at the time of production, Essential Training Solutions cannot accept any legal responsibility or liability for any errors or omissions that may be made. Essential Training Solutions Ltd. accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for the accuracy of the information, conclusions that may be drawn from it, or how the information is interpreted and implemented. This is the basis on which the information is presented and the courses offered.
  6. We are unable to enrol minors. Students must be at least 16 years old.

ETS Starting Work Safely, Multiple Users, Terms of Sale

  1. On receiving an order, ETS will email you a spreadsheet for your employees’ details.
  2. On receipt of your employees’ details, ETS will register your employees to the course and email you with their login details. The course can then be immediately accessed.
  3. During a normal working day (Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm) the registration procedure will usually only take about 2 hours. Student registration is a manual process and will not be carried out outside normal working hours.
  4. The pass mark is a minimum of 50% on both final assessments, with an average of 54% overall.
  5. Should an employee fail, they may re-sit the final assessment(s). ETS will need to authorise this.
  6. ETS will accept purchase orders and upon receipt will complete the registration process as stated above.
  7. Full payment must be received before the certificates are issued.
  8. Certificates will be sent by recorded delivery to the business address.

The content of all ETS material, even when branded, remains strictly under the ownership and copyright of ETS and may not be copied or duplicated by any means without explicit permission from ETS. All intellectual rights to all ETS products remain strictly with ETS.

System Service Level
ETS online products are hosted securely with a licenced Moodle Partner. ETS has a service level agreement with the Moodle Partner that states that the hosting environment shall normally be available on a 24x7 basis with a 99.5% uptime guarantee. This excludes scheduled downtime that is occasionally required for upgrades and is agreed with ETS in advance. The system is very stable, and downtime is extremely rare however, should the Moodle service be lost for a period of time due to circumstances beyond the control of ETS, ETS take no responsibility whatsoever for any loss of business or earnings and will not under any circumstances be liable for any costs, losses or inconvenience incurred directly or indirectly from the downtime.

Licence Duration
Some ETS products (e.g. Question Banks, Health & Safety Resource, Anatomy & Physiology Workout and the College Resource) are sold with a 12 month licence. This is stated at the point of sale. Online courses do not have this restriction and no extra charges are made on any online course should more than 12 months be required to complete the course. Once the course has been completed, a further 2 weeks is allowed before the successful student's access to the course is deleted. However, ETS reserves the right to give any student on any course 6 months notice to complete their course(s). Access can be denied to any student after this 6 months notice period has expired, even if the course(s) has not been completed.

Prices and Goods
Prices are subject to change without notice. Images may vary slightly from actual products due to the limitations of the internet and variations between computer screens etc. Orders are accepted at the discretion of Essential Training Solutions and Essential Training Solutions maintains the right to decline orders without giving an explanation.

Overseas (non UK) customers
We are a UK company based in England. All items on our site are priced in UK Pounds Sterling (£). If UK Pounds Sterling (£) is not your currency, the amount you actually pay will vary depending upon the exchange rate at the time your transaction is processed.

Sales Tax (VAT)
The prices shown on our web site include VAT where applicable. Goods sent to non-business customers within the EU will attract VAT at the current VAT rate in force in the customer’s member state. Goods sent to companies within the EU can be zero rated if a VAT registration number is supplied. We advise you to order by telephone, e-mail or fax if this applies to you.

Payment
All tangible goods that need to be posted to the customer remain the property of Essential Training Solutions until full Payment has been received and verified. With the exception of internet orders (which are automatically processed) we will not take payment from your debit or credit card until your order is ready to be dispatched.

Delivery
We endeavour to dispatch all orders within 3 working days. Only on rare occurrences are items not in stock but if it is not possible to dispatch your order promptly we will contact you to advise you of this. Substitute goods will not be sent. Most orders will be delivered by first class mail. The cost of postage and packaging is free to the UK. Goods can be posted internationally if you contact us first for a postage quote. The cost of postage will be added to the order total.
If you do not receive your goods within 10 working days you should contact us. Compensation is limited to the cost of the goods ordered and will take the form of a replacement.

Returns 
All orders are carefully checked before dispatch. However, very occasionally items are damaged during transit. If your goods are delivered damaged, please retain the packaging and contact Essential Training Solutions within 5 working days of receipt to obtain authorisation to return the damaged goods. Essential Training Solutions will dispatch replacement goods within 3 working days following the receipt of the damaged item(s). We will pay for the cost of returning the damaged goods and no charge will be made for the postage of the replacement goods.

Cancellations
Customers have a cooling off period and have the right to cancel the contract within 7 days of receiving the goods. The customer must give written notice of the cancellation to be received by us within this time frame. However, in the case of all CD software, the goods must be returned with all packaging intact and unopened for a refund to be made. The customer will be responsible for the cost of safely returning the goods to us. On receipt of the undamaged, unopened goods we will issue a full refund of the price of the goods, minus the original postage and packaging charge within 3 working days. For all online courses/products/CMS the course/product/CMS will be considered to have been “opened” at the time that the customer first accesses the course/product/CMS. Once the online course/product/CMS has been accessed by the customer the right to cancel will be lost.

Privacy
Essential Training Solutions respects the privacy of every individual. We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service. The information we hold will be to the best of our knowledge accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. Any personal details obtained through the ordering process will NOT be sold, rented, leased or disclosed to others. Essential Training Solutions strives to act lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 to protect your rights.
Any payments made on this website using a debit / credit card will be dealt with using Barclays Banks 128 Bit SSL e-merchant facilities to ensure your online privacy and security. Your card details are not disclosed to us.
